What is the role of each branch?
What people or departments make up each branch?
What checks and balances do they have against the other branches?
Where does each branch meet?
How long do the members of this branch hold office for?
Step 2: Directions on to how to create your poster board:
Divide the poster into three parts: Executive, Judicial, and Legislative
Make sure your poster has a title.
Draw a picture or find a picture on the web to illustrate each governing body.
Add a written description of each branch of Government using the questions you have answered and any additional information you would like to share.
Any pictures from the web or drawn by the group must include a short description.
Be creative, make it colorful, and have fun!
(Additional supplies will be provided)
